Florida- Day 3

Disneyworld baby!!!! Oh man. So we weren't exactly sure how long it took to get to Disneyworld from Alysha's grandparents' house and so we left early so that we wouldn't be late meeting up with John and so that we would actually be early so that we could try to sell the tickets.
We got there really early. And, since the ticket selling didn't go all that well, we had like an hour to wait for John, whose meeting ended up going over so he was even a little late. But whatever, he showed and we got in, so all was good :o)

We had decided to meet John at Hollywood Studios. We hit up every ride there, starting with the Aerosmith ride (Alysha's favorite and the only thing that she demanded we do), we watched the Beauty and the Beast play, visited the character studio, took pictures and headed off to the next park. I say it all fast like that, but don't get me wrong, we spent a good few hours there.

Next stop was Magic Kingdom. That's the one that looks like Disneyland and I was SO giddy. The castle is so pretty and it made me smile so much. We hit up a lot of that place, but we also skipped a lot, seeing as it was the one that was most like the one I go to frequently. The tea cups were great because they went fast!!! At Disneyland, they've tightened the tea cups so that they won't spin as fast as they used to. That's not true at Disneyworld. Man, I wish my dad had been there for that ride, we would have been able to go even faster. One thing that I did NOT like was that the "It's a Small World" clock was inside the ride. Okay, not inside the ride, but the whole ride, including the line was inside and the clock was in the line area. So you only get to see the people pop out if you happen to be in line at the right time. We, unfortunately, were not in line at the right time and so we didn't get to see the little show. Alysha's not a fan of any of the little kid rides so we bypassed most of Fantasyland. We went on the Stitch ride-ish thing, but that was lame. It wasn't like the one in Hong Kong where Stitch called me his girlfriend, but it still wasn't a ride. It was lame, that's the only thing I can say about it. HA... I almost forgot. While we were in the Haunted Mansion, Alysha tried to kidnap a kid. Eew. We were stuck in the elevator with a big group of kids, who were not well behaved or quiet. Anyway, we walk out of the elevator and everyone is shoving through to get to the little bucket things you ride in. Alysha tries to take control and lead me through the crowd. She doesn't want to lose me, so she grabs my hand. Umm... Did she not realize that I was already holding onto her backpack and that the hand she had grabbed was much smaller than mine? I saw her take the kid's hand and I grabbed her wrist and shook it, laughing too hard to tell her clearly to let go because it wasn't me she was dragging along. I did get it out, however that it wasn't me and one of the adults in the group of kids told the kid to let go because he was following the wrong person. It was He-larious. Before we left Magic Kingdom I wanted to go on the Jungle Cruise to compare jokes. Alysha wasn't to keen on that one, but she was a good sport and went along with it. It was a 20 minute wait, but it wasn't that bad because while waiting in line, they were making announcements that were Jungle Cruise humor and made me smile. And then the we actually made it to the ride and I have to say, the captains on the Jungle Cruise Ride at Disneyworld are funnier than those at Disneyland. Well, at least our captain was. After a good few hours at Magic Kingdom, it was time to be done. We hadn't hit up everything, but there wasn't the time.

Our next stop was Epcot. I was determined that we would go to all 4 parks in one day (the water parks don't count). And it was already about 6:00pm by time we hopped the tram to Epcot. We knew the last two parks would be rushed. I was worried because Alysha looked absolutely pushed. I decided that we absolutely had to get dinner right away or else she was going to keel over. That slowed us down a little, but it did wonders for Alysha's energy. She perked right up. Hehehe. Epcot was fun, but it went by in a flash and we definitely did not experience all that it had to offer. The most important part to me was that we visit the mini-lands section. Of course that's located all the way at the back of the park, so we made our way back there, looked at the building for each country, took a picture, and walked to the next building, took a picture, and so on. Toward the end, the buildings were a little more spread out and we were full of energy so we decided to run from one building to the next. I'm a good people weaver (I've had practice- thanks Dad) and so I could run and maneuver just fine. Poor Alysha on the other hand was not as good. As far as I'm aware, she didn't run into anyone, but she did get yelled at by some Disney crew members :o) We had a little trouble getting out of Epcot, because the sidewalk we took dead ended instead of leading us back to the entrance. But eventually we found our way out and headed back to the bus station to hit up our last park.

We got back to the bus station and spotted the bus that would take us to Animal Kingdom. I ran to it, thinking that it was getting ready to leave soon and asked if it was the right bus. The bus driver said that yes, it was the right bus, but that Animal Kingdom had closed at 5:00pm. I said "No it doesn't" believing him of course, but cursing my luck. He apparently didn't take it as such and asked if I was calling him a liar. I told him that no, I believed him, I just didn't want it to be true. So then he pulled out the schedule to prove to me that he wasn't lying. I was furious Alysha. The little hoe-bag hates Animal Kingdom, so I knew that it was her plot to just happen to go to that one last, knowing perfectly darn well that it closed at 5:00pm (p.s. she's standing right behind me, hence the reason I'm writing this dramatically- that last part at least). Anyway, we decided to head back to Epcot where we hit up a space simulation ride (lame) and a road test course something something ride. That one was fun, but mostly because the people we rode with were hilarious. I don't remember what they were saying, but they had a comment for everything. Those to rides took up all our time because once we got off the car one, we ran into the mass exodus of people leaving the park, it was closing time. We took the tram back to the parking lot and headed back to Alysha's grandpa's house.

That was the one night that we were able to fall right asleep and stay that way.
