My roommate
Alysha randomly (and I mean RANDOMLY) went on a trip to California with some friends to go to Disneyland. When she came back she started talking about how she liked
Disneyworld so much better. She through in that one of the better qualities of
Disneyworld was that she could get in free. I got to thinking about that and I asked her... "So, you could get me a ticket into
Disneyworld too? And you have grandparents there right? So if we went down then we could stay with them? So we could have an amazing trip to Florida and only have to buy the plane tickets?" Her answer was yes, plus her grandpa would for sure let us use his car and her grandma would make us really good food while we were there. I think that it was immediately there after that I jumped on the computer and looked for the cheapest tickets to Florida I could find. Without a job, the cheapest tickets I could find weren't really cheap enough for me to justify the price. I decided we should give it some time and just keep checking to see if prices would go down. After four or five days of checking, I noticed that the price went up. Crap! I decided that if we were really going to do the trip, we were going to have to decided ASAP.
Now, when you're not supposed to spend money, don't talk to my mom. She was so sure that I could justify spending money on a plane ticket because when was I going to have this chance again? So we decided to go and looked online and found the same deal we had found earlier for a different day. We had planned on June 1st through June 4
th but the cheaper tickets were for a longer time, but also closer than we anticipated: May 13
th through the 18
th. After we bought the tickets, I was glad to hear other people tell me what a great deal I got on the flight and how yeah, there was no way I could pass up a trip to Florida that included a free trip to
Disneyworld and free housing, car, and food.
I think we only had like 2 weeks to prepare for the trip and plan out things. But it worked out, and we were all ready to go when the time came.
