Another early morning, and another morning where I was ready way before we actually had to go (remember church on Sunday?) Breakfast wasn't until 7am and I was up at 6am and ready no later than 6:20am. I did what I always do with extra time, and I stood out on the balcony and watched the waves. It was finally 7am and time to grab breakfast. It was a simple buffet, but it was good. We were the first ones there because we were one of the only people leaving in the morning today. We ate quick, headed out, made one last stop at Wal-mart to pick me up a calendar I wanted, and were at the airport WAY early. That's how we roll around here.
We took a quick flight from Maui to Oahu, then from Oahu we flew to San Diego. It was so lame. The flight attendant on the flight from Maui walked past me as we were boarding and said, there're too many bags on this flight, we'll have to load yours downstairs. I was fine with that, it meant I didn't have to put it up top, I didn't have to pay for it, and I just pick it up as I walk out. Oh nay-nay. What she didn't tell me when she checked it was that I had to go to baggage claim to pick it up. Never mind that our flight had come in late and I had a connector, they refused to just call down and have one of the people bring it up. I guess it's good that Hawaiian airlines is ALWAYS late. I would have made it on the plane barely if our connector flight would have been on time, but since it was late, I ended up waiting which means that it wasn't too bad that it took forever for the luggage to come out, plus I had to go through security AGAIN and that line was forever LONG. Ooooo, I was NOT happy with that rude lady who checked my bag (since, in fact there was PLENTY of room on the plane so I don't know what crazy was talking about).
Other than that though, the trip wasn't bad. We landed and the airport was CROWDED so Dana got stuck in lots of traffic as she came and got us. But we're back now and we've got all our bags, all our parts, and everything seems to be alright with the house.
It's late now and I'm waking up early to go running with Kim, so I'm gonna end this one here.
